Announcements

BOX TOPS will be collected on December 3. Please round up all your BOX TOPS
and send them in. Thank you to Sarabeel's family for their huge contribution.

November is a very busy month for us. Marks close on November 20. Many
tests will be given before then. I will send home your conference appointment
this week.

Book Buddy bags are sent home every night and are due the next day. Blue
sheets must stay in the Book Buddy bag. Please return the bag even if you did
not get a chance to listen to your child read to you. I will send the book
home again. Please use the tips in the parent handbook to help your child with
comprehension.

Pink sheets are for extra books that your child reads at home. These can be
library books, books from your own library or books borrowed from me. When you
have filled up a pink sheet return to school and receive a FREE book. Then I
will send home another pink sheet.

Every month your child will be expected to read 20 books. All books count, mini
books, library books, and black and white guided reading books. Keep this
calendar in a safe place and return by the end of the month. This is counted
as a grade on your child's report card.

Parents, please send in a SNACK for your child each day.

We have Gym every Monday and Tuesday. Please wear sneakers on both days.

We have library every Friday. Students may check out either one or two books.
Books must be returned every Friday.

We are collecting BOX TOPS, Campbell's soup labels and Capri Sun pouches.
Please cut off the top of the Capri sun pouch and make sure it is clean and
dry before sending it in.
