No spelling this week.
Spelling words are sent home every Monday on blue paper. Don't lose this list,
you will need it to complete the spelling homework for the week.
Students are tested on 10 words each week. Eight are new words and two are
review words from the week before. In addition, there will be a bonus word
and a dictation sentence. Remind your child to start sentences with a capital
letter and end them with a period.

SPELLING HOMEWORK
Monday
Students will copy the words one time in school. They will copy the words 2
more times for homework.
Tuesday
In school, the students will put the words in alphabetical order. For
homework, they will complete a spelling paper.
Wednesday
Students complete a spelling worksheet for homework.
Thursday
Parents, you need to give your child a practice spelling test. Please mix the
words up, don't give the words in the same order as on the spelling list.
