A Message from your PTA President, Bridget Cepalia-
Thanks to all of our Mathewson families, friends, and staff members who helped get the 2009-2010 school year off to a great start! I am especially grateful to all of the PTA members who have donated so much of their time and effort. This year we have seen a great outpouring of staff members, parents and even students looking to roll up their sleeves and help out where needed. Talk about school spirit! The help is very much needed and appreciated. There is always work to be done, so if you are looking to get involved feel free to contact me directly and I can work with you to find you something you are comfortable with.
Also, thank you to all who participated in our Genevieve's and Bulldog Run fundraisers. Our PTA budget depends on the money we raise through fundraising, and without your generosity we would not be able to fund the many PTA programs at Mathewson that benefit our students.

Please consider joining me at the next PTA meeting, January 13th at 7pm (there is no December PTA meeting due to holidays), to find out more about how the PTA positively impacts your child's experience at school. There is no better way to know what is happening in school than being part of the PTA!
