~~~~~ WELCOME TO MR. THALER'S WEBSITE ~~~~~ Don't forget to READ for 20 minutes every night... Practice your multiplication facts up to 12... Get someone in your family to quiz you on the weekly spelling words and multiplication times tables... Not sure what you have for homework tonight? Check your HOMEWORK PLANNER (all of your assignments are written there!)... Mr. Thaler expects you to do your BEST WORK -- This means DON'T RUSH through assignments, and use your NEATEST handwriting. Be prepared to REDO any assignment that does not meet fifth-grade standards!... Mr. Thaler does NOT 'give out' A's ----------> You have to EARN them!... Some classroom RULES you should remember: Speak and write in complete sentences.........Always raise your hand and SILENTLY wait to be called on..........Never talk while somebody else is speaking..........Show respect to speakers by giving them eye contact..........SET AN EXAMPLE for all students -- You never know who's watching YOU to see how to behave!... Also, don't be shy or afraid to ask for HELP if you don't understand something! -- Mr. Thaler will be happy to help or explain it to you again!.......................................................................................................................
