About The Teacher

Mrs. Balzano 

I first started working in elementary education in 1999 as a fifth grade 
teacher at Highland School in Wallingford.  My love of reading and research 
inspired me to become a library media specialist in 2004.  I am so lucky to 
have a special teaching position that allows me to see and work with all of 
the students at Middlebrook School.  My goal is to encourage students to 
become independent researchers and lifelong readers.
