| We continue our study of Rocks and Minerals. The children have begun to
investigate and experiment with their "mock rocks". They have been observing
the properties and even taking them apart to see what "minerals" are inside.
Your young geologist is also performing various tests on the rocks, such as
the "scratch test", to further observe and identify rocks.
We are looking forward to our trip to Old Mine Park, where we will be able to
use these skills that we are practicing with our mock rocks in the real world! | |
