Chapter 8

We are continuing our study of the Settlement of the United States in Chapter 
8.  During this chapter, we will be learning about the pioneers who moved 
westward on trails, such as The Oregon Trail.  We will focus on why people 
decided to move westward and some of the problems they faced during their 
journey.

We will also be participating in the Junior Achievement Program. The children 
will be learning about real life skills in order to help prepare them for 
their future!
