About The Teacher

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Chemistry and a Master of Arts
degree in Education.
I am also a certified Medical Technologist. I have worked in both medical
and research laboratories. My favorite lab job was at Yale University where
I worked as an Assistant in Research II in their Diabetes Research Center. I
was able to work with doctors from around the world and was twice published.
I am currently an adjunct professor at Albertus Magnus College, where I
teach a course entitled "Science In The News".
I have been married for 27 years and have two children. Christina is 22
years old and is a first year Law School student at Loyola Law School in New
Orleans. My son Lenny is almost 18 years old and will spend this year as an
apprectice in the restaurant management field.
I also have a dog named Bella who is almost 2 years old.
I love to read, swim and bake desserts (especially cookies)!

Mission For The Class

The mission for this class is to learn about EARTH SCIENCE through the use of
many "hands-on" methods including experiments, demonstrations, projects and
discussions. Through hard work and dedication, the SCIENCE of EARTH will
become an important part of our everyday lives.
