What must I bring to class?
Usually a pen or pencil, at least four pieces of clean looseleaf
paper in a notebook or binder, and your text will suffice. I will
announce, make a list on the blackboard, and post on this website
when other supplies are needed.
When CAN I seek extra help?
I am usually in the building by 7:20 am. If you are certain you
will want to see me on a particular morning, it is always a good
idea (but not necessary) to speak to me or jot down a note. Other
times can be accommodated by appointment.
When SHOULD I seek extra help?
Whenever you feel it necessary. If you feel you've misunderstood
or simply missed something in class, then would be a good time.
Absences and missed assignments are other good reasons for
stopping in early. Don't let the work pile up! I'm here to help.
When should I use e-mail to contact you?
E-mail is a great way to reach me. Please be specific about your
question/concern. Your parents may do the same. If it is a
question easily answered, I will reply via e-mail a.s.a.p.;
otherwise, I will request that we sit down and discuss, or in the
case of your parents, I may respond with a telephone call.
