Supply List


The following is a list of items that each student will need. All 
students will receive a school-issued assignment notebook. This 
notebook should be brought to class everyday along with the 
following items.

Please read the instructions included with each item carefully. Items 
with a * next to it will be stored in the classroom.

Items in bold print are optional and not required everyday.
Students must have all supplies by Tuesday, September 4th.

1 3-Ring Binder - This will be used to store classroom documents and loads of paper.
1 Pack of Loose-Leaf Paper - Keep a lot of blank paper in your binder.
1 Pack of Pens or Pencils - I do not require or recommend one over another. I just want you to have something to write with!
1 Three-Subject Notebook* - This will be your writer's notebook and will stay in the classroom. We will be using all three sections!
1 Writing Folder* - I will supply this for you at the beginning of the year. It will stay in the room and will hold the various writing pieces that you complete during the year.
1 Pack of Highlighters - Highlighters are great tools for editing and revising sessions.
1 Pack of Colored Pencils or Markers - I like to use drawings as part of the writing process from time to time.
1 Pack of Post-It Notes - Also good for labeling mistakes during editing and revising sessions.
1 Pack of Green Pens - I like to use green pens during editing and revising sessions. I have some for student use, but having your own can't hurt.
