Homework

There is not a lot of homework in Family Studies.  Quizzes will be announced 
in class with a review and review sheets available for each.  Notebooks are 
to be kept in class and all handouts completed and kept in the sequence 
given.  Any absent students are responsible to get missing handouts from me 
and complete them. Notebook due dates will be announced as well.

Eighth graders have a home meal project.  This involves not only preparing a 
real meal (not just a snack) at home, but planning the menu, preparing a list 
of needed ingredients, setting up a schedule for having all elements ready to 
serve at the appropriate time, and cleaning up afterwards.  The details of 
this assignment are posted on the ANNOUNCEMENTS page.
