that you can copy and paste to practice the alphabet and numbers. If you
want to practice the weather, there is a site for this directly on the
blog. You can also go to Antoinette's "drop.ioSilverteamfrenchstudy" site
on the blog for practice. However I had trouble accessing this with my
computer. Go ahead and try it though as it may just be my computer that is
not getting it. Scroll down to Dec. 23 to see this site and to use it to
practice.

practicing until this weekend! This is homework for right now!!!!!

Bring your "animal en peluche" (stuffed animal) all of next semaine.
le 18 mai
PRESENTATION: Start to memorize your "Présentation." You must name at least
4 foods that you like for yourself, and four DIFFERENT foods for your
animal. These can be divided into foods your animal likes or doesn't like
in any combination you want, 1 and 3, 2 and 2, 3 and 1, but you must name 4
foods in all for your animal that are different from the foods you name for
yourself.
Also, you must use 4 adjectives for yourself, and 4 commands. Make the
commands interesting! (Expand on them!)
2)Send your comment to Pierre if you have not yet done so.

1) Send a comment to Pierre on the blog about " Nouvelles Photos de Pierre -
A la Campagne - Au Sud" Use the papier that Mme OT gave you in class to
write your comment.
2) Write the TOP PART ONLY of the Présentation given to you in class. You
may write up to what the name of your animal is, but don't go further than
that.

Complétez la feuille violette et la feuille bleue given out "en classe."
Aussi, we will correct the feuille jaune from last week, "Où est Albert?"

Etudiez pour l'épreuve ce jeudi le 7 mai. Use the top link on the blog to
practice (Au Restaurant 2 - Epreuve.)
le 27 avril - for the week:
Lundi:Practice les numeros to be able to play Bingo mardi le 28 avril.
Mardi: Make sure you have submitted a high quality animal picture by jeudi
le 30 avril. You will need 8 pictures of 8 animals in a zoo with labels in
French. Be practicing your skit and figure out props.(You will present lundi
le 5 mai.)
Jeudi: Be ready to present your skit next lundi, le 5 mai.Have props! They
count toward the grade.
Lundi,le 5 mai: Study for the quiz on mardi le 6 mai on restaurant vocab.
This will come from the papier rose (pink sheet) I gave you in class.

Finissez le wordsearch des animaux (animal wordsearch.) Translate the words
at the bottom into English and complete the top.
Turn the animal drawings in by jeudi, or talk to me about the due date if
you were absent.

Your zoo picture with 8 labels in French is due on Thurs.
If you haven't sent a Velib comment, it is now overdue. Do it now
(maintenant!)

Make sure you have sent a comment to the blog about Velib!

Completez 2 feuilles. You do not have to do the yellow one with the spelled
out number questions. We will do that mardi en classe. Just complete the
bottom of the gray one with that has numbers spelled out at the top, and the
wordsearch.

Bring your Bingo board. If you don't have one yet, you may make one in
class on jeudi.

Study for the épreuve.Call a classmate for specifics if you have been absent.

3) Study for the food/color quiz on mardi. You can review the food and

4) You can listen to the colors on the drop.io site. this post is from
Dec. 23 so you will have to scroll back. You can also hear the weather on
this site.

1) Leave a comment for Pierre about the minigateaux. (Spell this word
correctly!It has 11 "lettres!") Use the feuille verte that Mme OT gave out in
today's class to help you pick a few phrases to use. (Students with
allergies are excused from this.)
2) Complete the wordsearch given out in class.

Continuez a etudiez la nourriture et les 3 repas.
Le 19 mars
1)Memorizez la nourriture - your food vocabulaire from the manual. There is
a
new site on the blog to practice these words. Learn the words for the 3
meals as well.
2) Leave a comment for a check plus in participation on this site.
3)Complete the worksheet given out in class about what you like to eat for
the trois repas: le petit dejeuner, le dejeuner, le diner.
3) Optional: I also created a new site of games that practice Pierre's
vocabulaire from his minigateaux recette. You may want to try it just to
see
how many of the words you can remember. You will get participation points
if
you leave a comment on this site as well.
4) Optional: Faites les minigateaux. Make the cookies for big-time extra
credit.Bring a minigateaux to Mme OT as proof you did this to earn the extra
credit, or take a photo. Remember that the recipe does not make a lot of
minigateaux. I only got 14. You may want to make the minigateaux smaller
to
be able to make more and reduce the cooking time. (Ask an adult.) The
BONNES
NOUVELLES (Good news) is that our principal, Dr. Bo, gave us special
permission to eat these en classe! So if you bring a batch in, you will get
even MORE extra credit! MMMMMMMMM......And if you aren't a fan of chocolat,
or are allergic, I will look for some different recipes for you and I will
try to think of something to bring in for you to manger (eat.) You may bring
these in on lundi ou mardi.

1) Etudiez le vocabulaire de la recette de Pierre. Par example:

2) Completez la feuille "Au Supermarche" given out en classe aujourd'hui.

1)Ecrivez le mot francais for each food item on the back of the cut-out
pictures.
2)La Recette de Pierre: Try to figure out the conversions of grams to oz. or
cups with the information/charts I gave you in class. You will have to do
some math to get the amounts. If you have your own conversion chart that is
fine to use as well. Fill in as many of the vocabulary as you can on the
tan
sheet as well.
3) Completez la feuille "Quel Diner.".
le 11 mars
Etudiez for the quiz. Use the review "feuille" and also etudiez p. 9 of
manual.
le 3 mars
1)Completez la feuille jaune given out in class. This is to help you
prepare for a quiz on Unit 3 which you will have next mardi.
2)Bring your Baggie with the cut-out food to class.
3)TO PRACTICE THE FOOD WORDS:
If you would like to practice the food words, go to the
drop.ioSilverteamfrenchstudy link. The easiest way to do this is to go to
the Dec.23 post on the blog and click where it says "ioSilver." You will
have to scroll way down to find this the post, but it is the easiest way to
get to the drop.io site.
le 26 fevrier
1) Completez the color palette feuille. This will be graded.
2)Finish cutting and coloring the food items. Bring them to class in your
Baggie. Do not spend a lot of time coloring and cutting these. The color is
just to help you identify the items and you will not be graded on this.
3) Write Pierre about your pet or a type of animal you like if you haven't
already done this. Use the sheets from class and/or the notes below under le
24 fevrier.
4) If you would like to practice the food words, go to the
drop.ioSilverteamfrenchstudy link. The easiest way to do this is to go to th
Dec.23 post on the blog and click where it says "ioSilver." You will have to
scroll way down to find this the post, but it is the easiest way to get
there.
le 24 fevrier
On the back of la feuille jaune that was given out in class
today, ecrivez a rough copy of a response that you might write to Pierre.
An example would be:
Bonjour Pierre! Merci pour les e-mails. Je m'appelle Sandy. J'ai un chien.
Il s'appelle Buster. Il est petit et mignon. C'est un "Shih-Tzuh."
Or "Bonjour Pierre. Je m'appelle Annette. Nous aimons vos emails. (We like
your emails.) Je n'ai pas d'animaux domestiques mais j'aime les chevaux." (I
don't have a pet but I like horses.)
"Bonjour Pierre. Comment allez-vous? Je vais tres bien. Je m'appelle
Luc. Je n'ai pas d'animaux de compagnie. J'aime beaucoup vos photos.
Merci pour les e-mails."( I don't have a pet. I really like your pictures.
Thank you for the e-mails.)
Also write down any idea you have for Pierre's photo.
Do this for jeudi. You will put it on the blog jeudi or over le weekend
unless you feel ready to put it on before class on jeudi.
le 23 fevrier
1)Be ready to do your family presentation if you haven't done it yet.
2)Complete the color wordsearch given out in class.
3)Bring a plastic zip-lock Baggie to class on mardi. You will use this for
the food items (la nourriture)that we will be cutting out and labeling.
Bring
colored pencils or markers to color the food items as well.

We will resume the presentations that haven't already been done starting on
mardi,le 24 fevrier. Lundi, the first day back, we will discuss "idees" for
Pierre's photo de Paris. We will also start the food unit.

a poster as discussed in class.

Be memorizing your family story. You must have photos, clip-art, or a
poster to help tell your story to get a grade of A.

Complete weather worksheet
le 3 février
Fill in the "Ma Famille" papier violet that you received in class today.
Use at least 2 adjectives for each of the family members or pets that you
describe. You must describe 3 DIFFERENT family members or pets. For
example, do not do "J'ai un chien, J'ai un chien, J'ai un chien." You could
however do "J'ai unetante, J'ai un chat, J'ai une soeur." Bring this to
class on jeudi.
Leave a comment on the blog or write one on paper (see below) if you haven't
already done so.

Leave a comment on the blog for Pierre (unless you have already done so.)
Besides saying "Merci" to Pierre, you can also tell him what your favorite
monument is.(See how to say this in French at the bottom of this post.) You
can watch "10 min á Paris" to help you pick a monument, or
go to Google and research monuments in Paris. Include a brief comment about
why you liked the monument you picked as well.
If you have any other question about a monument, you may ask that question
as well.
If you don't have access to the video, you can write your favorite monument
on a full sheet of paper and turn that in to Mme OT with the reason you
liked it.
You should try to include the words "Mon monument favori est ---------"
whether you write it on a paper for Mme OT or respond to Pierre on the blog.

Finish your family cards that we started in class.
le 27 janvier
You will have a quiz on the airport skit vocabulary on jeudi, le 29 janvier.
Use the study sheet that was given out in class that says "REVISION - A
L'AEROPORT."
Bring your completed family cards to class on jeudi, especially if you
didn't
have them on mardi.
If you go to the Grand Palais youtube video that Pierre told us about, send
me a comment. In fact, send me any comments that you think Pierre may want
to
read and I will publish them.
To access Le Blog, go back to the where you click on the drapeau francais to
get to this page. You will see a picture at the bottom right that
says: "LIENS" (which means LINKS in French.) Click on that picture. You
will
then see the words "LE BLOG." Click on those words and it will take you
right to the blog site.
