Your answers should describe your hometown of Darien, CT - or if you talked to me - an alternate hometown. Wednesday, September 2nd - Finish the purple Latitude and Longitude coordinates worksheet. Tuesday, September 1st - You will need to be a little bit thoughtful tonight for homework. Every one of you is unique - you've got mad skills in one area and some things you need to work on in other areas. I want you to think about what makes you a good student - what skills or attributes do you have? Are you organized, curious, a hard worker? Do you always do your homework? Are you great at maps, math, creative, etc. I want you to TYPE up a short paragraph on your personal "great student skills." Then I want you to think about things that didn't go so well last year. Were you always leaving things in your locker? Does your binder look like you organized everything while skydiving? Are you forgetful? Are you just not that creative, or detail oriented. This is the hard part - it is hard to acknowledge that there are things we just aren't great at. Take a second now to TYPE a second short paragraph on the few things you just don't do so well when it comes to school. If you could pick one thing that would be the most helpful to fix this year - or at least get better at - what would it be. Write it down - it is your goal. Bring in your goal and the two paragraphs TYPED to class tomorrow. Monday, August 31st - your homework is to complete the survey handout from class today and bring it in tomorrow. Take you time with it!
Or, would you like to view and optionally restore one of these previous versions?
