Continue our Road to Revolution by reading about the Tea Act and answering
the following questions:
– Why was this created?
– What did the British hope to accomplish?
– Why did the colonists object?
Also, read the the packet with excerpts from The Shoemaker and the Tea Party.
Answer the following question:
What does this first-hand account tell you about the people drawn to the
American Revolution? Consider the political spectrum.
Be sure to highlight any difficult vocabulary or concepts.
