About The Teacher
We know we're a few days late on this, but we've FINALLY posted the 5 Finalists for our Best Website contest on our Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/TeacherWebInc
. You have from now until midnight next Wednesday, May 22nd, to vote on your favorite. The winner will receive a free year of TeacherWeb, and the 4 runners-up will get $15 Starbucks giftcards, so vote wisely! The Finalists' websites are posted in their own photo album on our Facebook page, so check those out first, visit the sites, click around, then come back and vote via our poll.
Thanks for your participation - we were amazed by all the entries and fantastic websites that we got to review, and if you didn't end up in the Top 5, know that it's because there are so many stellar educators out there using our products to reach their students and families that it was almost impossible for us to choose.
Thanks again,
The folks at TeacherWeb

About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
This is my seventeenth year teaching at Middlesex. During my years hear at MMS,I have taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade mathematics. I have a masters degree in education and a sixth year degree in administration. I also have state certification to be an administrator. Besides being a teacher in Darien, I am also a resident. My wife is a graduate of Darien High School where she was co-captain of the volleyball team. I have a daughter and a son. My daughter is a student at Holmes school. My future career goal is to get into educational administration or a field outside of teaching where I can apply my skills especially in the area of mathematics.
Mission Label:
Mission
My goal for my students is to prepare them for high school mathematics and the challenges ahead. I teach my students to expand on their answers and to be able to explain themselves. I believe that mathematics is best learned when connections are made instead of rote memorization.
