Building Self-Esteem

One's self-esteem refers to the extent to which one admires and values the
self. What children do on a day-to-day basis can help determine their self-
esteem. If children feel good about who they are and what they can do, they
will be able to learn more, and they will possess the confidence they need to
attempt new adventures in learning.
