~A parent/child Letter ID Challenge letter and Letter ID Award has been added to
~Many new links have been added to "Writing Ideas-Rubrics". Megan Krull said "I am looking
for grading rubrics for beginning literacy, print awareness, ... for example, how to grade
them." Here is what we found but please submit any Rubrics you have that could help her.

if your state is not there or needs updated you just email them and they fix it within
a couple days (that is what they did for Florida standards), Helpful Links-Literacy
-Learning stations, Helpful Links-Kindergarten Resources-two new links
of teachers sharing their resources and materials. A new page has
been added for Sign Language Materials and resources.

Resources"- TEAMS Electronic Classroom-There are some Kindergarten
materials but share this site with your upper grade colleagues.

~New notebook/smartboard files have been added to the
www.smartboardresources.info site for kindergarten teachers. Six
new files have been added to "Literacy Links/Files"-Dr. Jean's Totally
Reading CD. You will need to upload the music to each file.
~A new link has been added to "Helpful Links" - K Writing Plan for the Year
~A new link has been added to "Fundations" - Unit 5 Sentences for the
Smartboard
~A new link has been added to "SmartBoard Resources"-Cobb County

~5 new links has been added to "Thematic Resources"-St. Patrick's Day,
Dr. Seuss, Monthly Resources and Nutrition.
~A new links has been added to "Thematic Resources-100th Day"- Great
Site and many materials to print and use. A new 100th day notebook
file has been added to our www.smartboardresources.info site
"Math Links/Files-100th Day Projects". We used this file to help
explain what we wanted the children to do.
~Two new assessment tools have been added to "Mini Assessment-Literacy".
A set of small word cards and a matching assessment sheet. They are
both .doc files so you can edit them to match your word list.
~Nicole Mobley a Kindergarten teacher at Sandlapper Elementary in Columbia,
SC has a great Smartboard website. She has many files you can download
and use. GREAT SITE!!!
~Kelli Beach has submitted another great site-"Helpful Links-Literacy"-Kelli says, "It is a free membership with online games and readers for children
to interact with...it also has printables...my students love this site..."
