I had to move this to a new page because we ran out of room.

~A new Stages of Writing assessment has been added to "Assessment Materials". This came from the book Creating the Multiage Classroom published by Good Year Books - Sandra J. Stone .

~Three new "Developing Positive Behaviors" sheets have been added for three additional books.

~Four new assessment links have been added to "Helpful Links".

~A new page has been added called "Developing Positive Behaviors." We received some of the Heinemann "You and Me" series books (which promotes positive character building traits) as part of our Social Studies Program. We wanted to develop some Take Home Activities to help parents start a discussions about each topic or subject. We want the children to make a personal connection to each story to help them relate to the topic or subject better. If you have any additional activities for these books or similar connections with other books, feel free to submit your ideas.

~A new Problem Solving Assessment Package has been added to the "Assessment Materials" page. This assessment was created by the Kindergarten teachers of John F. Kennedy School, Milford, CT. This is a quick and easy assessment covering some higher order comparing skills.
