About The Teacher
Mrs. Lowry attended The Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Earth/Space Science. She has been state certified in Earth as well as General Science. She has experience teaching 9-12 grade Earth/Space science in Maryland and sixth grade science in Maine. She is in her 7th year teaching at New Fairfield Middle School. She has special interests in environmental education and astronomy. At NFMS she has been advisor of Project CLEAR and co- advisor of the middle school yearbook. She enjoys cooking/baking, hiking/camping,photography, and spending time with family. She has a 3 year old son and is expecting another at the end of December 2011.

Mission
Extra help is every Thursday morning starting at 7:30AM and most mornings prior to an exam. However, if you have a conflict with this time and need to come another time just give me 24 hr notice. In this situation, I am available at lunch and other mornings. After school times will usually present a conflict for me.
