Mr. Talboys has been at Newfield for 14 years. He is returning as a fifth
grade teacher. In prior years, he was a fourth grade teacher and
Newfield's math facilitator. His interests are skiing, lacrosse,
basketball, backpacking and his children.
He is also the Varsity Head Coach for the Westhill High School Lacrosse team.
Students will leave this class as more independent learners. The
class model is based on a synergy of the models of Responsive
Classroom and Kathy Nunley's brain-based learning.
