At Northeast Elementary School we use the Everyday Mathematics® program in our Kindergarten through 5th grades. Everyday Mathematics is an evidence based program developed by the University of Chicago School Mathematics Project in order to enable children in elementary grades to learn more mathematical content and become life-long mathematical thinkers. This program is entering its third decade of success, capitalizing on student interest and maximizing student learning by developing concepts and skills over time and in a variety of contexts.
