I am entering my 11th year here at Norwalk High School. In addition to
teaching Physical Education and Health, I also serve as the Health & Physical
Education Department Chair, Pool Director, and Boys Swim Team Coach.
Prior to Norwalk High School, I was the Physical Education and Health teacher
at Rowayton Elementary School for 8 years, and have taught both middle school
and elementary school Physical Education in Greenwich, Trumbull, and
Bridgeport.
During the summer, I am the Pool Director and swim coach at Brownson Country
Club in Shelton.
My wife Sheila and I are the proud parents of Alyssa, Kyle, and Jessica.
In Health Education classes, I would like students to realize there is a
wealth of information available to them. The goal of Health Education is to
let students know they are confronted with choices in every facet of life. I
would like to lead students to the realization that they can make choices
which lead to a more healthful existence, and know where to find information
to help guide their decisions.I will share some personal experiences and
stories in the hopes of making this a more meaningful experience for my
students.
