In this exercise, individual students will be called upon to take a legal 
position and defend it with pertinent facts.

site listed at the end of the feature, "College Students Help Prevent 
Wrongful Deaths", Northwestern University School of Law Center on Wrongful 
Convictions.

Consider the following: What is your textbook authors' position based on 
their presentation?  What is your position based on analysis of the law?  How 
many wrongfully convicted persons does the site mention?  How does this fact 
compare/contrast to the total number of convictions in the U.S. legal system? 
Does due process address the errors that occur when defendants are wrongly 
convicted?

your answer sheet the way we do vocabulary quizzes.  CH 1 answers in the left 
column and CH2 answers in the right column. Two sets of ten answers.  When 
you're done, check and correct on pp.AP-43, AP-45. Score yourself and...NO 
CHEATING! That would be like cheating on your golf score...who are you lying 
to? YOURSELF! Bring the results to class and let's see if we can set some 
personal bests.

4. View your results and print a copy of each item.
5. Staple your results sheets together, put your name & period on the upper 
right of the front page and submit them at the beginning of your next class.
This submission will weighted as a chapter quiz grade. Make sure you submit 
it AS ASSIGNED.
