This is my third year here at year here at Orange Avenue. I love it here! I
have a BFA in painting from the Maine College of Art, received my teaching
certifiction at SCSU, and I am working on my my master's
degree (slowly but steadily). I was raised in Shelton, CT but I have had the
good fortune to call several different places home including Maine, Vermont,
California and now West Haven Ct!.
The Orange Avenue art room is an environment where every student has the
opportunity for an enriching and rewarding creative experience. Students have
ample room for personal expression within the boundaries of each lesson. We
study art history and cultural heritage, as well as many types of art
materials and media. Students in our art room feel comfortable exploring their
own artistic identities.
