Can my child buy lunch?

Your child may purchase a lunch from the cafeteria, or bring a lunch from
home.  Daily lunch costs $1.65.  You may also put a deposit in your child's
lunch account.  If you have any questions about the lunch program, please
contact the cafeteria manager.

What about snack?

We will have a fifteen minute snack period every morning.  We encourage
healthy eating habits, so please do not send candy or soda as a snack.  You
child may also purchase a snack from the cafeteria.  For one dollar, your
child may select a bagel, fruit, or cereal, and a drink.

What is the best way to contact Mrs. Burn?

If you have a question or a concern that you would like to share, please send
in a note, send me an email or leave a message in the school office.   I will
get back to you as soon as possible.

We need to change my child's dismissal procedure. What do I do?

If your child is leaving before dismissal time, or going home in a different
way, you MUST send a note.

How are birthdays celebrated?

Each child is invited to celebrate their birthday in class.  We celebrate
summer birthdays on the child's half birthday in January or February. 
Children are invited to bring in a snack.  (No peanut products, please!)

Can I send birthday invitations for distribution in school?

If you are inviting the whole class, or all of the boys, or all of the girls,
you may send the invitations to school for distribution.  Otherwise, please
find another way to distribute invitations, to avoid hurt feelings.

How should I send money to school?

Please place any money in an envelope, clearly marked with your child's name
and the purpose of the money.
