| Here are just a few reminders that will help us to have a successful year in
grade one:
~ It is very important that you check your child's take home folder every
night. On the "Bring Right Back" side of the folder, you will find your
child's homework and important notices. Please return these things within the
established due dates. Please remind your child to bring their take home
folder back to school each day. The take home folder is a line of
communication between home and school.
~ We will go outside for recess whenever weather permits. Please remind your
child to dress appropriately.
~ Each student absence needs to be documented with a note from home. Please
send in the note when your child returns to school.
~ If you are going to change your child's usual method of dismissal, you must
send a note.
~ Please send any money (lunch money, Book Fair, fundraisers, etc.) in an
envelope marked with your child's name and the purpose of the money.
~ Please do not send in peanuts, peanut butter or peanut byproducts for snack.
~ Please remind your child to leave their toys, stuffed animals, etc. at home.
