| Our first graders are working almost everyday on writing stories. They are learning to
organize their thoughts with a beginning /middle/ ending. We are practicing writing
one story from each memory box which will go home to share with the family,
Children will write & write & write. Once a month, we will go through their Writer's
Workshop (WW) folders and they will give me one of their best stories to keep & they
will take the rest home.
Memory Boxes:
Please be reminded that Memory Boxes are memories for the student. Please be sure
if they would like to add something to their memory box, that they can share a special
memory. They should be able to write about a special time or person based on what
they put in their boxes. Children can continue to add items to their memory boxes.
