Hi, my name is Jillian Judge and I am happy to be your first grader's
teacher. I feel that
I have the best job in the world. I get to teach, watch, explore with,
wonder with, and
learn with the best kids at OAS.
I live locally with my husband Jay and our three boys, Jay -6 and Justin- 4
and Jackson (born Jan. 08). I love
to spend my free time with my family. We enjoy traveling and going on road
trips. We like to play baseball & basketball in our backyard. We like to
ride bikes, go for walks and go
hiking. We also like to play games, do arts & crafts, and of course, we
LOVE
to read. We read every night faithfully.
I also enjoy spending time with my family & friends. I am very lucky to
have such wonderful people in my life. We do a lot of fun things together.
When I have some free time, I like to read, exercise, garden, and knit. :)
I want the children who enter room A8 to be ready to think, wonder, and
explore. I
want the children to love to read and to love to learn. I want to create an
environment
where the children feel safe to take risks, to trust themselves, to be proud
of
themselves, and to respect themselves. I expect the children to give their
best
everyday. The chldren who come into this class should be trushworthy and
honest. I
want the children to laugh, smile, and have fun while they learn. I want
the
children to
aim for success by following directions, paying attention, making good
choices,
working cooperatively, and participating. I want to create Livelong
Learners!
