What's New in Room C2
In reading we continue to make text to self connections and practice our
comprehension strategies. We have completed a unit on Fairy Tales. The
children completed Fairy Tale diorama projects. The diromamas were very
creative and looked great! We will soon begin a unit on Biographies.
We will begin our unit on Communities Old and New in Social Studies.
In Science we have completed our unit on Rocks and Minerals. Soon we will
begin a unit on Sound.
We have been learning time and temperature in Math. The next unit will be on
Measurement.
We continue to practice writing snapshots in Writing and using descriptive
language in our personal and fictional narratives.
