Language Arts	Mr. Flanagan •  Home Reading •  New home reading bookmarks and guidelines were handed out this week.  A copy is on the Documents page. •  Students are writing rough drafts of their persuasive essays.  We are focusing on revising and editing. Students got back their end of unit tests today and wrote in the % score in their agendas.  We began our next unit “Covering and Surrounding” (Area and Perimeter).
Science Mrs. Whelan	•   Ecosystems and Water and Humans All corrections and improvements for A Grave Mistake and A Pucker Effect due 5/9. Our aquariums are complete with plants, snails and fish. Insects for our terrariums will arrive this week.
Social Studies/ Reading Workshop Mr. Flanagan	•  We are studying the French and Indian War this week.
Announcements	•  Spring pictures will be on May 12.
