The fourth piece we will focus on is the one you are hearing right now-
it is a beautiful French piece by D�libes from the opera "Lakme"- it
is a
duet usually sung by two people but this is performed with voice and violin
and you will hear it in woodwind - enjoy!
Open the link and click the play button. This piece is called Rondeau by a
composer named Jean-Joseph Mouret. It was written in the 1700's for King
Louis XV and should make you think of French noblemen and women in wigs and
dresses with large skirts in a regal ceremony or perhaps dancing in a
palace...

beautiful piece by Erik Satie. It is slow and melodic - maybe you picture a
scene of quiet, peaceful water...
