Friday, April 25th

Dear Parent(s),

This week we were busy learning about x. We read X-ray Fish, created a list of x words, colored x pictures, made x-man and formed X and x.

We read Goldilocks and the Three Bears. After reading, we made the characters, created the setting and perfomed a play. In math, we used our touchpoints to help us add. They are doing a great job!

We began playing a new game. Using our first and last names, we see how many words we can make.

Next week, we will focus on the letter Yy. We will read The Yak Who Yelled Yuck. We will learn how we use our five senses.

In math, we will continue to practice using touchpoints to help us add.

Class pictures will be taken on Tuesday, May 6th at 9:25 am.

Also, the Mother's Dat plant sale will be held on Thursday, May 8th and Friday, May 9th.

We will be attending the spring concert on Tuesday afternoon.

Here is a list of the chaperones for the Beardsley Zoo: Mrs. Chesson, Mr. Menta, Mr. Piascik, Mrs. Rosato, Mrs. Schuler, Mrs. Stebbins, Mrs. Tuccio, and Ms. Duan. Thank you for volunteering. If you have no sent in $8.00, please do so by Monday.
