Fun with New Words - Lesson 9 Friend Frog
If you are discouraged, you feel like whatever you are trying to do is not working.
Ask your child to tell you whether anything discouraged him or her today and to tell why.
If something is extraordinary something about it is very good or special.
Ask your child to give you an extraordinary smile.
If you hesitate about doing something, you stop a little before doing it, usually because you are not sure about it.
At the grocery store or in your kitchen, have your child point out foods that she or he would hesitate to eat.
When you respect something or someone, you show that they are important to you.
Ask your child to name family members, friends, or neighbors and tell how she or he could show respect for them.
If you desire something, you want it very much.
When your child is about to ask for something he or she really wants, say “What do you desire?” Encourage your child to say “I desire….”
