The beliefs of Rogers International School focus on the attributes of the IB Learner Profile, developing internationally-minded people who are Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-minded, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced and Reflective. These are reflected in the RIS mission statement:Our mission is to create a diverse school community of lifelong learners through an engaging and challenging program that fosters a culture of caring, collaboration, action learning and responsibility for the environment.
As you all are well aware, the downturn in the economy has affected many families in our area. Rogers International School is partnering with the Rogers Magnet PTO to create a pantry within the school to help our families. Each month we will be posting a list of the non-perishable food items needed most. This month we are looking for:Pasta, pasta sauce, rice, dried beans, canned fruit, boxed or powered milk, juice (bottles or boxes), granola bars, healthy cereal, peanut butter, jelly and cooking oil. Please be sure to check the expiration date. Also, Gift Cards to Stop & Shop or Shoprite in small denomination ($5 & $10).All donations can be placed in the labeled container in the main lobby with the exception of gift cards they should be handed to Alicia Hernandez in the main office.Families in need of assistance should see Jen Argenio or Alicia Hernandez.Rogers prides itself on the great community we have created. Thank you all for your help.
