Week of May 21st-25th
Our word family this week is "ell" family - shell, bell, well. Please have something
in for the 'ell' family by Thursday morning. Remember this is part of your child's
weekly homework. Some of the children have not brought in an item in weeks.
Please continue to review all letters and sounds of the alphabet.
We will be continuing with fractions this week. Continue to practice addition,
subtraction and any other skill your child may need to work on.
Please continue to review all numbers and number words. Continue to review
the mini-book on number words 21-30 which went home last week.
The children should be able to identify all numbers through thirty by the end of
Kindergarten.
We started our wonderful unit on frogs and toads. We are enjoying Frog and
Toad chapter books which focus on friendship.
The children will start to write their Frog and Toad stories which I'm sure will
be fabulous.

Conference forms went home on Friday. Please return as soon as possible. If
the time is not good, please let me know a better time for you and we will
reschedule accordingly.
Did you know we are trying to buy two milk buffaloes for the children at an orphanage
in India? If you have any extra change please send it in. The class with the highest
collection gets to pie their teacher. What fun that will be!!??
Mark your Calendars!!! K graduation is Thursday, June 14th at 9:00 a.m. Children
are dismissed for the day and year following Graduation. Any questions, please ask.
Reminders: Children may wear their summer uniforms.
Our field trip to the Discovery Museum is Wednesday, May 30th.
**Children should wear sneakers every day.
**Children may bring in a water bottle on warm days.
