First, don't worry. This is not uncommon and with practice will be corrected.

You have to pay for it.

Yes, I have to show that it is an excused absence for attendance purposes.

 What do I do if my child complains of bullying or teasing?
Once your child has complained about a problem, whether it is on the bus or 
while in school, please call me right away (783-3533) and I will call you 
back ASAP. I take this very seriously and try to find out what is going on 
immediately. I try to help the children figure out what words to say when 
someone bothers them or says something hurtful. Ant offenses of bullying 
are reported to Mr. Busca, Mrs. Pinsince and the teacher whose student is 
involved. It is not tattling when someone is being physically or emotionally 
bothered by someone else. I want the children to know that I am there to 
help 
them when they feel uncomfortable because of someone else.

 How do you celebrate birthdays?
We have to discourage any food items for birthdays due to food allergies. 
Sending in a simple goodie bag or allowing your child to bring in their 
favorite book is allowed. We will still sing Happy Birthday to the birthday 
boy or girl.

 How do I know when the lunch money has run out?
You will get a bill in your child's mail folder.

 What if I have to pick up my child early?
This is considered an early dismissal and is counted 3 times before it 
equals 
an absence. You MUST go to the office, sign your child out and the office 
will call to the classroom to have your child dismissed.

 What happens if my child is tardy a lot?
Each combination of three tardies will equal 1 absence. 
If your child does not ride the bus, please try to get your child to school 
on time. Frequent tardiness will cause a disruption.

 Can I bring a pet to school?
Due to allergies and safety issues pets are not allowed in school or on 
school grounds at any time.
