| Hello Students and Parents,
As you know, each grade curriculum is different in history.
The 6th grade curriculum is ancient civilizations, dealing with Egypt,
Greece, Rome, China and many more. There will be projects on every major
civilizations and most of those projects are done in school.
We are starting the ancient civilization of Italy. We will be covering
Italy for most of the fourth quarter.The project for this quarter will be for
the students to develop an Italian mobile with a variety of Italian topics on
it. I then hang them in the class for all the student sto seee and enjoy.

In 7th grade we will be done with the American Revolution and proceeding into
the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. In this quarter the students will be
learning and discussing about the War 1812 and up through and including the
Civil War.
In 8th grade we are starting the Koren and Vietnam Wars and by the end of
this quarter we will be discussing current events.
We are heading down the home stretch of the school year. It has been a great
year with the students. Their enthusiasm continues to impress me.
