OVERVIEW
The physical Education program is designed to promote growth and well being for the children. Physical fitness and a variety of motor skills are the main focus of the program. The goal of our physical fitness component is to enhance the physical performance and body composition of the indiviual child. Motor skills development is emphasized in the primary grades and progresses to more sports specific skills in the upper grades.
Throughout the entire grade levels the PE program looks to instill the values of sportsmanship, respect, cooperation and leadership while using physical activity as a vehicle for learning. Prayer is reinforced every class period to bring the spirit of Christ to our lessons.
Lastly, through positive experiences, positive reinforcement and constructive criticism life long learning in physical Education can take place.
