It is hard to believe that the school year is coming to an end! It has been
a wonderful year – one filled with so many graces from God. The children
were fantastic and the parents were the best! The cooperation and
understanding that the teachers and I have experienced with all of you was
remarkable. Thank you a million times for your generous hearts, your smiles
and your many good deeds. Have a very restful and relaxing summer. May God
bless all of you in a very special way.
The children in the three year old program will have their last day of school
on Tuesday, June 10. Both classes (a.m. and p.m.) should assemble at the
back yard of the preschool at 10:00 a.m. where they, with their parents and
friends, will enjoy an ice cream social. The children will also sing songs
with Miss Helen.
The children in the four and five year old program will have their last day
of school on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. This will take place in St.
Rose of Lima Church. Both sessions (a.m. and p.m.) should meet in the
Preschool and then they will process to the Church. Parents and friends
should assemble in the Church at 11:00 a.m. where the Preschool Moving-Up
Ceremony will take place. Due to the construction of the new building and
the demolition of the Parish Hall, this year we are not able to have a
reception after the ceremony. We do invite all of you to take pictures in
the Church as well as by the beautiful Blessed Mother Shrine that has been
erected under the leadership of our beloved pastor, Reverend Monsignor Robert
Weiss.
