When I go to "Grades", what do the numbers under each assignment mean?
The number under an assignment tells you how many points you earned on that assignment. The general breakdown of the maximum points possible for assignments is as follows: Homework = 2 points; Lab Activity = 10; Quiz = 20; Test = 50.Back to Top
How do you arrive at the quarterly grade?
Using a point-based grading system, I simply take the total number of points you earned for the quarter and divide it by the total possible points. For example, if there were 250 possible points to be earned in a quarter and you earned a total of 200 points, your grade would be: 200/250 = 0.8 = 80% (B-).Back to Top
