I was born and raised in Germany and have been living in the USA for the
past 23 years. The last 21 years I have spent fixing up my almost 300 year
old house in Shelton with my husband and my two daughters, Emma and Juliane.
I reveived my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master's
in Special Eduction with a concentration in Early Childhood from
Southern CT State University. This is my 7th year with TECEC.
When I am not at school I love to read, swim, and cook. I also love to
collect all types of Holstein (black and white) cows. See if you can spot
some in my classroom.
My misson for this classroom is to assist children with special needs to
achieve their individual goals and objectives set on their IEP.
I will provide an enriched environment for peers and
enhance their patience and acceptance of diversity with children with
special needs.
Overall support will be given to parents to help their child grow into a
cooperative and more independant individual.
