We will wrap up our unit on animals the next two days.  When we return we will begin a theme centered around sharing with family.  We will read the Night Tree, Ginger Bread Man, the Giving Tree and various books.  Our class will be taking a trip to stop and shop to tour the Bakery and select ingredients for our ginger bread house.  I will need some volunteers to help with baking and construction of the gingerbread house for this project.  Please email me if you are interested.  The children will also be working on their fine motor skills while learning the character trait of giving by wrapping, taping and signing their names on chochki gifts and delivering these gifts to the three year old rooms.  Please send in your unwanted happy meal toys or other unwanted small toys. 

The children will continue to learn about the characteristics of different animals while also learning about three dimensional shapes, measuring and sequencing.
