Week of December 7th
All classes: Monday Through Thursday--study notes, homework, and vocabulary for test next week. (Thursday) We will have a pre-test on Friday. Periods 4, 5, and 6 need to finish flap books---vocabulary cards---and/ or chemistree ornament with research on back of picture to be placed on the "chemistree"! PLUS: Listen to Chapter 2 vocabulary podcast for test review....notes written by students!!
December 3, 2009 Monday through Thursday We will be making a flap book for the cell cycle in class the next three days. The flap book counts as a test grade for this trimester. Homework will be to continue to review notes, chapter 2 vocabulary and homework pp. 48, 53, 62, 67, and 71. Students will be given the graded Water Water Everywhere lab and are allowed to make revisions for partial grade improvement for the scientific process. Thursday- finish the flab book if needed. Friday-no homework
Week of November 23 Monday and Tuesday In class: As announced on Friday I am planning a notebook check. Bring your science notebook/binder! I am checking pages 48, 53, 62, 67 all # 1-2 in complete sentences and page 71 # 1-10
At home: Study for the test next week.... Wednesday None-Have a Happy Thanksgiving
Week of November 16th Monday Read pp. 64-67 and answer # 1-2 in complete sentences. Tuesday Chapter Review p. 71 # 1-10

There will be no homework due to a science lab this week. Students can begin to study Chapter 2 vocabulary words for upcoming test.
Week of Nov. 2 Monday Read pp. 44-48 and answer # 1-2 in complete sentences! Tuesday no school Wednesday Read pp. 49-55 and answer # 1-2 in complete sentences Thursday Read pp. 55-62 and answer # 1-2 Friday none
October 26, 2009 Monday through Wednesday Study notes given in class for all of the plant and animal organelles, pages 20 and 21 for pre-test on Tuesday. Note the pre-test becomes a study guide along with your notes and pp. 20 and 21 for the final test on Thursday. Thursday Finish the learning with style classwork, if needed. Friday None
