1. Read textbook pages 212-217 and answer questions 1-6.
2. For those of you who are presenting your Veterans Day Project tomorrow
please be ready.
WEDNESDAY 11/11 -
In a couple of paragraphs, explain what Veterans Day is and how you think it
should be celebrated. Should we celebrate it with our classmates and
teachers or should we celebrate it with our families? Or is there yet
another way we should celebrate Veterans Day? Explain your ideas in detail,
and use the articles and graphic organizer as sources. This does not apply
to period 1 since their class did not meet today.
THURSDAY 11/12 -
Periods 4,5,7 - Write a "thank you" letter to one of the veterans who visited
us yesterday. Express your appreciation to them for serving our country and
also for coming to Middlesex. Mention something specific about their
presentation.
