There is not a lot of homework in Family Studies.Quizzes will be
announced in class, as well as notebook due dates. Eighth graders
have a home meal project. This involves not only preparing a real
meal (not just a snack) at home, but planning the menu, preparng a
list of needed ingredients, setting up a schedule for having all
elements ready to serve at the appropriate time, and cleaning up
afterwards.

Otherwise, homework is usually limited to the expectation that students
will "make up" work missed due to absence.
