IMPORTANT BRONZE ASPEN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ENGLIGH A:
Progress grades for all classes should now be visible for the second
quarter. Go to family, then transcript, then click on each class and scroll
down to second quarter.
For my classes, the average in the progress area should be the same as the
average for students on my itemized gradebook. IMPORTANT: I changed the
categories to better reflect my grade breakdown, but I'm told the old
categories from the first quarter must stay (I'm working on this...). It may
look like there is no entries for quiz or RRS. THERE ARE. They are just
bunched into larger groups of items per category. If you want to check
individual assignments, please click on the assignments tab, and all
assignments for your child will pop up with grades. This is a better way to
examine the gradebook for all assessments. I'll let you know when and if I
get the first quarter issue of categories sorted.

You may clean out your binder of all grammar/parts of speech sheets up till
now if you are all
caught up with assignments on the parts of speech unit. Our next unit on
traditional literature will take
us up to the next holiday break. We will also be continuing some grammar
with run-ons, fragments,
and sentence structure.
