IMPORTANT BRONZE ANNOUNCEMENTS - 10/21
Mr. Troeger and I have decided it will be easier for students to have separate journals for English A and
B. We will grade them together for the first quarter, and students will receive a grade in each class for
the journal. All journals will be graded by the end of the first quarter. If you see a "missing" in the
journal assignment on ASPEN, it means we have not graded your child's yet.
Starting with the second quarter, students will have separate journals for
English A and B. The journals they have will be scored as a grade for both
classes this quarter. We wanted to try a joint journal, but it is turning
out to be logistically crazy! Starting second quarter, students will need a second
journal for each class. If you want to send your child in with $1, he or she can purchase one directly
from me.
*Nature's Classroom forms have been distributed to homerooms. There is
important information in the letter regarding the trip, including trip dates
and form/payment deadlines. Also, the school home page has important trip
information, including copies of forms and packing lists. Please contact
guidance if you have specific concerns about your child's attendance of the
trip.
