(ALL) For those students who need the gentrification and/or electoral college assignment; feel free to pick it up from the table with the fish tank. Please don't take the last copy. If there is only 1 left, please alert me and I will produce more. Please meet the deadline. No late submissions will be accepted.

(GOV) The study guide for the final exam has been posted under the lecture and study guide tab. Please omit all influences on voters and executive branch related questions. You will be responsible for items 1-36. If you have been absent, please utilize your book and lecture guides to find key information.


(DC) The study guide for the final exam has been posted under the lecture and study guide tab. Please omit all Civil War related questions. If you have been absent, please utilize your book and lecture guides to find key information.

(DC) A 3 point curve will be added to the online exam to account for the computer's sensetive and highly specific grading of the short answer questions.

(ALL) Grade reports will be fresh, made to order!! I will be available between 12PM and 8PM 4/14/12 thru 4/16/12 to communicate your grades for the 3rd advisory. General guidelines are as follows: 

1. Full amnesty will be provided for all assignments excluding the online blog responses and online test assigned in DC History. All outstanding assignments or extra credit must be EMAILED by 9PM on 4/16/12. All worksheets can be found under the "Printable worksheets" tab with the appropriate subject OR in the class warm-ups document.  

2. All students will be credited with the successful completion of 6 news stories. Please do not submit any warm-ups until further notice.

3. You may communicate with me through the following:

A. Darren.wilson84@gmail.com. You will get an informal reply email from me verifying that I'm preparing your grade report. If you don't hear from me within 1 hour, please send an additional email.

(DC) Starting 4/11/12, you will need to print and bring your lecture guide entitled Economic and political problems 1820 to 1860.

(ALL) If you have missed a news story or warm-up, they have been posted at the bottom of the page under the printable worksheets tab. It is accurate through 3/26/12.

(DC) For students who did not get a copy of the comparing DC/Wyoming assignment, there are important new details under due dates!!

(DC) For students who missed class to prepare for the National Latin Exam: The video is entitled "DC Democracy." It can be found half way down the links section tab. The questions can be found in the news stories document that has been updated and posted at the bottom of the Printable Worksheets tab. Please answer the questions by 3/19/12.

(DC) You may complete your online exam beginning 3:15 PM on 3/6/12. It can be found under the DC History HW tab.

(DC) Starting 3/5/12, please print the fight for DC Statehood lecture guides.

(GOV) Attention world leaders! The bulldogs region has been officially created. Please have your country join ASAP. In order to join the region:

1. On the homepage, click on your current region. On the bottom of the page. Above "Today's World Census Report" there is a tab entitled "Tired of life in your region." Click it.

2. At the top of the page, enter "Bulldogs" in the search field.

3. Click "Move Country to Region"

4. In the password field enter "BANNEKER" in all caps.


(ALL) All 1st semester students, your final grades for the 2nd advisory are ready to be picked up. Please come see me. You must handle any questions or concerns by 3:30 PM on Friday 1/27/11. Grades will be entered into the computerized system that evening. 

(ALL) Please come pick up all graded papers from the table with the markers by 1/27/12 or they will be discarded.

(ALL) 1st semester students. You may now come pick up your final exam. Final grade reports will be available starting after school on 1/24/12. 

(DC) Final Exam Scoring Guide:

A. Multiple choice and True/False questions were worth a possible 69 points.

B. The equation problem was worth a possible 3 points.

C. The Exam is worth 72 total points.

(GOV) Final Exam Scoring Guide:

A. The open ended questions were worth 39 possible points.

B. The multiple choice were worth 1 point each for a possible total of 41 points.

C. The matching were worth 1 point each for a possible total of 33 points.

D. The Final Exam is out of 113 possible points.

(ALL) Please have your 1st lecture guide printed and ready for class by 1/25/12.
