Treasure Bag Investigation

Treasure bags are a fun way for students to use thinking skills while
getting to know their classmates. Using a paper bag, each student should
bring three to five objects from home in the paper bag that tells something
about his or her likes and dislikes. Then each child should write a few
sentences about their likes and dislikes on their bag without marking their
names on the bags or the objects.

Examples of treasure bag items are:

Bag #1: picture book, baseball cap, bag of chips
Bag #2 :purple socks, stuffed animal, postcard from a vacation destination

Examples of sentences are:
My favorite picture book is written by Patricia Polacco.
I play on a soccer team.
I buy baked potato chips with my sandwich.
I love to visit New York City.
My favorite color is purple.
I own many stuffed animals.
