Summer is upon us and I have so much to be grateful for as we wrap up the year! First off, I would like to thank Ms. Bonnie for dedicating her time to our class as room parent. With her help finding chaperones, organizing parties, and setting up Parent Readers for Friday mornings, was a complete success and something the kids benefitted from greatly. Her timely organization has a huge help to me and I know that I could not have had such a successful year if it were not for her generous support and assistance.
Thank you also to all our families! There has been such an outpouring of love, support, and help from all of you as well. Thanks for coming in to read to the kids and being willing to answer a million questions related to the reading or not, for braving the metro for field trips and not losing one single kiddo, and for being willing to pick up that mystery gunk stuck to the floor and tables after a class celebration! You guys ROCK!
I am amazed at how quickly this year has passed and find myself trying to hold on to the precious few moments I have left with this year's students. Your kids have worked so hard this year and have made social and academic leaps and bounds! I have every confidence that it will be a smooth transition for them into fourth grade and that he or she will continue to flourish and have great success.
I will miss them dearly and I will miss all of you. I consider myself very lucky to have worked and spent time with each and everyone of your families and cherish the gifts and talents you have passed on to your little ones. I want to wish you all a wonderful summer and lots of adventure and fun in the new academic year.
Thank you for your support this year! Please feel free to contact me at email@example.com for anything you need in anticipation of fourth grade or otherwise. Big hugs!
