I was born and raised in various countries in Central America. My family
moved to DC when I was in the fourth grade and I attended Janney for
three years. We then spent two years in Kenya and moved back to DC
where I have lived ever since. I received a BA in Psychology and an MAT
in Elementary Education from American University.
One of my favorite activities is reading. When I'm not reading, I can be
found gardening, watching butterflies, or playing with my cats.
The mission for the class is for students to work together to solve problems,
to take on new challenges, and to be kind and supportive to everyone. I hope
my students will use what they learn to help make the world a better place.
